Last game of the season was upon us, and we were playing the potential champions, with a full turn out everyone was filled with confidence. The game it self really summed up our season really. Good in patches, but a little sloppy at certain times. but hey lets not get to negative, there were many positives to take out of the game.

I thought we more than held our own against them, and if it weren't for some better finishing could of easily one the game. Tommy coming back into the team is fantastic to see, lets hope you stay injury free and push for a place next year. Also boys, think of the team we ended up with compared to the team we started with. I think next year could be the year of bigger progression for us all.

We must rememeber that we will only ever do things and move forward as a team and not as individuals, and I believe the vast majority if not all except and work as hard as they can to move us forward. With new players coming in competiton for places is high.

Back to the game, we tried to start at a high tempo for the first 20 mintues to see if we could catch them cold, but it seemed to be us who weren't caught cold. We didn't seem to attack gun ho or even defend. They got the first in sloppy terms, which then seemed to wake us up. Midfield got stuck in more and we began to press alot better. Again we were unlucky to go two down because we were creating loads of chances. Just think we had so many chances, but how many did their keeper have to save. Something to work on guys.

Asd the game wore on, alot of the pressure was on them, but they did look good on the counter, but to be fare our defence did well to subdue them. Wakely took the net out from 8 yards from a good cross from Andrew and we were back in the game. But just how we normally do we let a sloppy unchallenged header go in. In the end it was disappointing, but hey we've finished 4th which is a vast improvement from last year, and i'm lovign that fact that we are all pissed at that cos we know we could have done better. Bring on the new season.

Unlucky with the goals, was a bit expossed to be fair. Kicking wasn't as good as the other week. But his distribution seemed to be good from his hands. Good addition

Chris "My Girlfriend tells me what to do" Wallbank RB 8/10
Goes about his job quietly but effectively. Forget his age and all that. Definitely in there by merit. Chris forget about midfield mate its never gonna happen.

Arnold "Black Rock" Djejde CB 7/10
Had a good tussle with their forward. Great to have his pace at the back, again another good addition. Keep it up Toure

Marc "Really it was 6 yards" Wakely CB 7/10
Due to the fact he don't do nothing it hard to write about him. Only joking, had a quiet game for him but took his TAP IN well. Keep it up De Vos.

Rob "Jez do you ever shut up" Hurst LB 6/10
Was a bit unlucky to come off, but wasn't giving as much attacking option. Maybe due to sloppyness of the team. Worked hard defencively and covered well.

John "I'll meet you down the Val for the quiz" Hassan DM 6.5/10
Wasn't one of his best games, i thought maybe he was trying too hard. However what you do get with the kasier is loads of effect and dirty Saturday John fouls. Broke down play well to set us on our way in the second half.

David "My girlfriends here so i'm gonna play extra good" AM 7/10
Doesn't seem to be himself, but I thought at times we saw the DelBoy of last year. Getting about everywhere and always being involved. Keep it up Skipper NOT!!!!

Dave "I'm going to Rome with my girlfriend" Zarcaro AM 6/10
I thought build up play with him was very good, the ball always seems to find him and he is involved. I marked him down manily on his finishing, and I think even he would admit that. Overall game was okay but Zesty on another would of had a hat trick.

Alfie "Dave gonna kill me once he's read this" Egembah RWF 7/10
Work hard when I didn't have the ball, however could have been a bit better with my final ball and should of probably scored from the chance I had.

Mark "Thats my Goal" Butler CF 6/10
Didn't get the ball as much as he would like. Knowing how well he can ball its somerthing that needs to be addresses as a team and i'm sure John will. Had decent movement and always worked hard when he didn't have the ball.

Jono "I still don't believe that's your surname" Thrid LWF 6/10
Did Okay on that side, but thought he could have got the ball into the middle quicker. However your energy and work rate were fantastic. Good to have you back though and hope you stay injury free
