Another good performance by the team even if we did end up with a mass brawl, thanks Gib. We kept the ball a lot better in the first half and moved it around really well. We started a lot better than we have done in previous games. We even had Brad and Toch hit screamers that cannoned off the bar.

All of a sudden we were looking like a slick unit; the transition of position was good, as was the work rate to win the ball back. As with all of our play we do tend to cut teams open with our patient build up play and today was no different. The best goal had to be Andy Saunders. It started with great work by Jey and Starling. The latter put in a great cross for Brad aka Messi to dummy for Andy to slot home.

Even after the sending offs it was very impressive how the team still managed to keep the ball and move it around the pitch. It reminded me of a Champions League group game. When one team has qualified and the other hasn’t and they just can’t get the ball off them.

In conclusion another good performance, but there will be harder trials to come.

Man of the match display, got around the park well and kept the ball moving. Was unlucky with his effort that hit the bar, but finished well for his goal. 8/10

Danny “I will break you” Chester AM
Getting back to the form he showed at the start of last year . 6/10

Toch “Seba Veron” Singh AM
Played with an injury and had to come off in the first half. Needs to get fully fit and back up to the level we know he is at. 6/10.

Getting back to his Tamil best. 8/10

Andy “Wooden Spoon” Saunders CF
Keeping that goal a game average up, ran the line well and stretched it well for us. 8/10

Joe “If your goona dive at least get the pen” Mariani WR
Very quiet in the first half, but still got a goal, came to life in the second and tormented the full back 7/10
