Now for the ratings
Graham “Newbury’s No1” Tritton GK
Becoming a bit of a normal trait with him, not much to do and was unlucky with their goal. 6/10
Chris “Cut your hair” Wallbank RB
A bit sloppy at times, but was strong in the tackle and covered well.
Nick “Come on u Irons” Marrable CB
Before you even start it was such a cross it was unbelievable, but a goals a goal. Never gave up and kept on going. 7/10
Kye “Mr Cool” Braithwaite CB
Always does everything at his own pace, which is slow but effective, hardly put a foot wrong. 8/10
Tom “Sweet boy’s not so sweet” Starling LB
Quiet but effective, getting his form back to what it was towards the start of the season. 7/10
Brad “6 yard” Gates DM
Always neat and tidy, and got the ball moving around the pitch well. 7/10
Jon “Lil Pol” Galligan AM
Always seems to find the gaps, and play the balls that get us chances. 7/10
Andy “Mr Reliable” Lane AM
Has been like a new signing for us, seems to be working well with Gatesy and moves it around well. 7/10
Joe “Has hair like an Italian prima Madonna” Mariani WL
Direct play gives us a threat when he plays, needs to get a few more balls in the box. 7/10
Andy “Goal Machine” Saunders CF
Did well in patches, but looked a little quiet. But like all good strikers was in the right place at the right time to score the illusive winner. 7/10
Alfie “Big Time B” Egembah WR
Disappointing first half, but was much more effective in the second half, direct running and movement made this. 7/10
Subs
Toch “Newest member of the right back club” Singh
Came on at right back and did well, then went into midfield and gave us a foot hold to play from. 7/10
