Meet The Squad - Trent Williams-Jones

Hello and welcome to our meet the squad segment. Today’s player is Ms Jade himself and Captain of the A Team Trent Williams-Jones.

Special Power: Being annoying but amazing at the same time and occasionally passing the ball (brilliantly!)

1. As a new player at the club how have you settled in, and who has helped you settle in the most?
Well, I found it easy enough to settle in at Newbury as it’s a really friendly and entertaining team of idiots. Now I feel part of the Newbury famo and its only been a few months. From the start, the big bosses at the club Jonny H, Alfie, Just and the great Nick ‘the chav’ helped me and my fellow exciting prospects settle. Already I feel like an up and coming Steven Gerrard instead of sh*t on legs (Darren Fletcher).
                                  
2. A few people think you are gay or woman like, how would you address these comments?
Well, all I can say is that I’m extremely comfortable with my sexuality (like tom Alexander) and sometimes I can become carried away and end up doing silly and ‘gayish’ things. I love my Newbury Famo, I just need to learn how to control my love filled outburst. Really, I am straighter than a ruler and any Beyoncé looking girlies out there, holla at your boy! Please. I’m desperate! lol

3. If you could get any one from the team to wear the tutu who would it be and why?
Any of the top bosses would be good. But the top contender would be Kai. He’s always insinuating that I’m gay but really I think he’s jealous of my exciting lifestyle, my sex appeal and my dreadlocks. Kai, u had your time all right but someone of your age should really be relaxing at home with children and slippers.

4. Now that you are 18 , you can come out with the big boys, who do you want as a drinking partner for the Fancy dress party and why?
I would probably have top dog Johnny Hassan, just because I want to drink him into an already due grave and he would have my back. Definitely not Justin, seriously Just you need to go to Alcoholics Anonymous.

5. Who would you wanna see wear the tutu at training or any other event?
I have a hate list. Jamie Morales, Tom Alexander, Joe Mariani, Justin, Dave... You know what everyone can wear it you all deserve it.

6. What are you expectations for the A Team over the next year?
In an unrealistic world where everyone has chocolate covered shoes and it rains marshmallows and girls or even better girls holding marshmallows, I would say that the A team would win the league, the cup and whatever else. However, I see this season more as a season to gain experience and merge as a team. I would love a top half finish and a decent run in the cup.

7. Who would you most like to play with out of all the other players in the club, and who would you hate to play against?
Jon Galligan, my Powerleague nemesis. It would be good to put aside our rivalry and start a formidable midfield partnership. But any of the Newbury players have a place in my heart so anyone really. I definitely hate playing against Jamie Morales he’s quick feet are annoying. Really I feel like kicking the sh*t out of his Porto Rican arse.

8. What do you think of the Newbury setup so far?
Erm, it’s great. Just hope one day when the big bosses (old fogies) are gone, I can run the club and turn it into a football/ political party. Prime minister and captain of Newbury, the world’s best jobs.

9. The gap between the Reserves and A team seems to be closing, do you think you can beat them next time?
Definitely, last match was tight and if it wasn’t for some dodgy referring (Graham) and linesman stuff (Jon G) we would have been deserved winners. I’m just proud of both teams.

10. What are you wearing to the Fancy dress party?
It’s a dangerous and amazing surprise…Beyoncé girls can come and find out!!
