Newbury Forest FC Pro-Evo Competition

Format: PS2

Entry: £10 per person


 

Entry Details

  • A total of 32 Teams/Players may enter the competition.
  • Cost of entry is £10 per person.
  • Prize money: Winner £150, Runner-up £10.
  • Entries will be accepted on a first pay first served basis.
  • All entries are non-refundable.

Tournament Structure

Group Stage

  • 8 groups of 4 teams
  • League format, 3 points for win, 1 point for draw.
  • Teams will play each team in their group once. Total of 3 group games played.
  • Winner of each group progresses to knockout stages.
  • In the event of equal points, league position will be decided on the following:
  • Goal difference
  • Goals scored
  • Head to head result
  • Games won
  • Penalty shoot out
  • Where scores are equal the next factor becomes decider.
  • Match duration will be 5 minutes.

Quarter Final / Semi Final - Knockout Stages

  • Match duration will be 10 minutes.
  • Quarter Finals are all played at the same time.
  • If game is drawn after 90 minutes, penalty shoot out will decide winner.

Final

  • Match duration will be 15 minutes.
  • If game is drawn after 90 minutes, extra time will be played.
  • If game is still drawn, penalty shoot out will decide winner.

Team Selection / Set-up

  • Players can choose any team, national or club, and players must use this team for all matches in the tournament.
  • Players MAY choose the same team as another player.
  • Matches will be played with standard team formation and line-up.
  • NO MODIFICATIONS CAN BE MADE.
  • In other words, you choose your teams and select Start Match.
  • No memory cards are permitted.
  • No substitutions can be made at any point before or during a match

Game Settings

  • All players are on Red Arrows.
  • Fatigue will be switched off.
  • Injuries will be switched off.
  • Referee will be random.
  • Stadium will be random.
  • Weather will be in the summer and sunny.
  • Matches will be played at night.

House Rules

  • Each Playstation will have an appointed ‘Referee’.
  • Results must be reported to ‘Referee’ immediately after final whistle.
  • Any delay in kick off time may result in match being forfeited and a 3-0 defeat awarded.
  • Any modifications made to team line-up and/or set-up will result in disqualification from the tournament, no refund will be given.
